East Extramural Area: June 14, 2007

The most recent layer of wall fall in the western end of the trench was photographed, mapped, and removed. A very nice, flat surface was uncovered throughout the eastern end of the trench. This is the original plaza surface. A few sherds and a lithic were found resting on this surface. The western end of the trench continues to be brought down in arbitrary increments of 10 centimeters in hopes of uncovering a similar surface.
